Evaluation of Yield, Yield Component, and Essential Properties of Pot Marigold (Calendula officinalis L.) under Water Stress and Urea

To investigate the effect of irrigation and urea levels on some agronomic traits essential oil content pot marigold, a study was conducted in split-plot based completely randomized block design with three replications. The treatments included four (irrigation after 5, 10, 15, 20 days) nitrogen (0, 80, 160, 240 kg ha-1 urea). plant height, flower number, dry weight, number seeds/head, thousand kernel biological yield, essence percentage, yield were measured marigold under different levels. results revealed that water stress, nitrogen, their interaction had significant all investigated traits. highest flowers/m2, grain observed simultaneous application 5-day interval 80 urea.
